We partnered with developer Chapter Group for their new display suite in Balwyn - Maleela Rise. The 31 residences with hotel-style services and facilities have been designed by architects Cera Stribley, with interiors by Studio Tate and landscape architecture by Jack Merlo.

One of the standout works placed in the display suite is this beautiful Betty Campbell. Betty is from the APY community of Mimili and practices at Mimili Maku Art Centre.

About the artist: Betty Campbell is a well-respected Elder, grandmother and senior knowledge-keeper for Mimili. She is a passionate singer and dancer, who loves to lead inma (dance ceremony), teaching the children the different songs and dances of their ancestors. Betty creates embodied paintings related to women’s songs. Rather than associating a specific storyline with her paintings, her works are raw and immediate expressions of a woman whom celebrates culture in all aspects of her life.
